Reverend Jeanine E. Clontz, Pastor
On July 1, 2011 we welcomed our 14th pastor, Rev. Jeanine Clontz, and her husband, Victor.  Pastor Jeanine comes to us from First UMC Geneva, and is very excited to be here and looks forward to strengthening our presence in the community.
Pastor Jeanine was born in Neubrucke, Germany and raised in Orlando.  She worked for the Kmart Corporation for 26 years, ending her career with them as a Human Resources and Training Manager.  Upon her retirement from Kmart she answered God's call into ministry.
Pastor Jeanine holds an Associated of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Valencia Community College in Orlando, A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration /Human Resources from Florida Southern College, Lakeland and a Master's of Divinity Degree from Emory University, Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.
For 25 years Pastor Jeanine served the United Methodist Church as laity in the areas of Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader, Finance Council, Staff-Pastor Parish, Lay Leader and Liturgist as well as being a Certified Lay Speaker of the Florida Conference.  She also served with the United Methodist Women as a both a local unit and District Officer.
While in seminary, Pastor Jeanine did a two-year internship at Avondale-Patillo UMC in Decatur, Georgia.  Upon her graduation from Candler School of Theology she was appointed to First UMC in Geneva, where she served for nine years.
Pastor Jeanine's husband Victor graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology.  For the last 32 years he has been self-employed as an Air Brush Artist.
They are both avid sports fans as well as animal lovers--especially of their five cats.
Pastor Jeanine loves to read, walking on the beach and doing jigsaw puzzles.  He favorite sports teams are the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. 
She says her greatest passion is being in ministry with God's people, sharing God's love wherever HE places her
