Meet FBUMC's Staff
Jo-Anne Gonzalez--Treasurer & Admn
Jo-Anne is our Administrative Assistant and is in her 17th year now. She keeps the office organized, produces the Sunday bulletins.  She is responsible for daily operation of the office, web site maintenance, membership list  as well as other clerical duties. In January of 2013 she became the church Treasurer and bookkeeper.  One of Jo-Anne's favorite things about working with us is getting history lessons and jokes from our members, "The folks here are just priceless, they always seem to pick me up when I need it with out even knowing it, " said Jo-Anne.  Having grown up in Flagler County, Jo-Anne can get you just about anywhere you need to go and give you a history lesson in the process.  After graduating from Flagler Palm Coast High School, she worked her way through college--she earned a BS in Public Relations with a concentration in Athletic Administration and Special Events from the University of Florida in 1996. After graduating from college she was an assistant manager for the Avenue and a Substitute teacher. She started her master's degree and was a graduate assistant sports information director and archivist in the University of West Alabama. She worked at the University of Texas at Arlington and was responsible for web site maintenance, men's golf and men's and women's tennis media guides, coordinating athletic department travel and summer camps as well as managing the media room during basketball season and splitting time with other department staff working at baseball, scoring softball  and volleyball.  During her time at UTA she also worked for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.  JoAnne served as assistant director for media relations at the A-Sun (former TAAC)  and was responsible for all aspects of women's sports, maintaining the conference website and championship duties as assigned.  JoAnne is a former Girl Scout, loves cooking, Pampered Chef, photography, college football, baseball and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Betty Seubert--Organist
Betty is our resident organist.  She is active in the United Methodist Women and has served as treasurer of the unit for the past 18 years.  Betty grew up in the Orlando area where she met and married the love of her life Steve 68 years ago.   She, along with Bette Rountree   organize our churches largest fundraiser, the annual Rummage sale each January.  Betty is responsible for the many beautiful flower arrangements for the Altar and marble pillars in the chancel area of the sanctuary as well as the centerpieces that we use for special  events/lunches on the tables.  Betty makes sells her arrangements at the annual UMW Bazaar.  Her flower arrangements are so popular that another local church requests them to sell as well. Betty likes to play the piano and grows "Okra" in her garden. The Seubert's have two daughters, four grandson's, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Jack Sumrall III--Choir Director
 Jack joined us as Adult Choir Director in August of 2017.  He received his BS in Music at Stetson University and will tour Russia this summer with the American Choral Assn. Student Chapter.  Jack grew up in Jacksonville and likes to write music.  We are blessed to have Jack with us.  
Sara Booth-Vasquez--Pianist
Ted Turner--Maintenance & Landscaping
Ted is our resident cleaning and lawn maintenance person.  Ted has been with us too many years to count and is planning to retire in the next few years.  Ted helps at FPCHS where he was the grounds keeper for over 25 years.  Ted is an active grandpa and is looking forward to spending even more time with his grandchildren.  Ted and his wife Charlotte,  have two children, their son Jeff is in the Naval Reserves and was deployed for a year.  He is a local sheriff's deputy and his wife works as the registrar at one of our elementary schools and their son Mark is a local landscaper.  We are blessed to have Ted with us.
