Meet FBUMC's Staff
 
Jo-Anne Gonzalez--Treasurer & Admn
Jo-Anne is our Administrative Assistant and is in her 18th year now. She keeps the office organized, produces the Sunday bulletins.  She is responsible for daily operation of the office, web site maintenance, membership list  as well as other clerical duties. In January of 2013 she became the church Treasurer and bookkeeper.  One of Jo-Anne's favorite things about working with us is getting history lessons and jokes from our members, "The folks here are just priceless, they always seem to pick me up when I need it with out even knowing it, " said Jo-Anne.  Having grown up in Flagler County, Jo-Anne can get you just about anywhere you need to go and give you a history lesson in the process.  After graduating from FPCHS, she worked her way through college--she earned a BS in Public Relations with a concentration in Athletic Administration and Special Events from the University of Florida in 1996. After graduating from college she worked as an assistant store manager for the Avenue, Substitute teacher, graduate assistant sports information director and archivist in the University of West Alabama. She worked at the University of Texas at Arlington and was responsible for web site maintenance, men's golf and men's and women's tennis media guides, coordinating athletic department travel and summer camps as well as managing the media room during basketball season and splitting time with other department staff working at baseball, scoring softball  and volleyball.  During her time at UTA she also worked for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club.  JoAnne served as assistant director for media relations at the A-Sun and was responsible for all aspects of women's sports, maintaining the conference website and championship duties as assigned.  JoAnne is a former Girl Scout, loves cooking, Pampered Chef, photography, college football, baseball and spending time with her niece and nephew.
 
Marcia Voege--Office Assistant
Marcia is our Office Assistant and helps Pastor Jeanine and Jo-Anne.  She is the recording secretary of the Church Council, President of UMW and the editor of our newsletter, the Tidings.  Marcia is the daughter of long-time member Pat and the late Argil Haltom.  She has 3 children, Kimmy, Corey and Jeremy, many grandchildren and 2 great-grand babies. Marcia assists with our technology and live stream of worship services.
 
 
Sara Booth--Pianist & Organist
Sara joined us in 2017 initially as our pianist, and  became our organist in 2020.  Sara is a graduate of Stetson University and is currently teaching piano privately. She will begin work on a Master of Sacred Music from the University of Florida  Sara is married and has two school age children.
 
 
 
Jack Sumrall III--Choir Director
 Jack joined us as Adult Choir Director in August of 2017.  He received his BS in Music at Stetson University and is currently pursuing a Master of Conducting from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. During the covid-19 pandemic, he sang at all of our worship services, including a beautiful rendition of NOEL in French while accompanied by a harpist at our Christmas worship.  Jack grew up in Jacksonville and likes to write music.  We are blessed to have Jack with us.  
 
 
Ted Turner--Maintenance & Landscaping
Ted is our resident cleaning and lawn maintenance person.  Ted has been with us too many years to count and is planning to retire in the next few years.  Ted helps at FPCHS where he was the grounds keeper for over 25 years.  Ted is an active grandpa and is looking forward to spending even more time with his grandchildren.  Ted and his wife Charlotte,  have two children, their son Jeff is in the Naval Reserves and was deployed for a year.  He is a local sheriff's deputy and their son Mark lives in Alabama.  We are blessed to have Ted with us.
